Paging the AWMA Fitness-Types: Anyone tried CrossFit training?

one of my cow-orkers has done that in the past.
looks and sounds fairly intense from what she's said.
as to effectiveness, well, it helps if one attends regularly, which she didn't, so instead of seeing results it just fatigued her.
(trust me, tpinwwp.)

I know people have done it. I have heard nothing but good things. I am thinking of doing it...
Maybe we should get a group together and do this. Just a thought.<ul><li><a href="http://web.mac.com/crossfitdc/iWeb/Site/Welcome.html">CrossFit DC</a></li></ul>

LOL. It's super-high intensity interval training and not for the faint-of-heart (literally)
I like the concept and the research behind it...but the possibility of death from rhabdomyolysis, the prospect of super-mega chunk blowing, and not knowing whether I have the mental fortitude to endure that level of intensity on a regular basis make me reconsider it.

Fix your link...but it might be interesting to try the "Elements" class one of these weekends.
Well, I guess I'd have to wait until May...every weekend is booked until then
