Thanks for the info, but I'm still a few years away from a pure track car.
I lack the space and the time for it. Next move is to ditch the TT Roadster and pick up a cheap Miata and make it a weekend / track toy.
What amazed me at the Porsche Club event was the trackworthiness of Porsche's street cars. The newer street cars have no trouble running with (and past!) the track-only cars. At Audi Club events, there is a much greater gap between the two.
