Default Pissed....f@ckin mechanic @ Merchant Tire damaged my Clutch!!

I got my wheels mounted and balance yesterday at merchant tire off randolf near barnes/noble and today I took it back to the shop due to car vibrating over 60 mph! The mechanic adjusted the tires and then took it out for a test drive. Later he came back and the car smelled foul/ burnt clutch odor. I assumed this kid prolly didn't know how to drive then his co-worker gets in the car and takes it for a drive while I sat in the back.

to make the long story short, we exchanged places at shady groove and drove back to Merchants. I couldn't even put the car in first gear unless I jam it in! At that point I realize the first mechanic ****ed up my clutch....I asked the guy if he knows how to drive stick and I was Shocked to hear that "he was learning" WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got back to the shop and explained the whole situation to the manager and now i'm sitting at home with the pos rental car. They apologize big time and will pay for everything. The car will be towed to Induktion today for repairs that god. Ed and Mat please restore my car as good as possibly =) and replaced whatever is damaged....clutch/gears/syncro, etc..
The are covering everything.

sigh, at least i'll have new parts =T
stay away from Merchant Tires at randolf near barnes/noble!!

Default wheels look very good though...I hope Induktion finds some more "problems" with your transmission

due to that dip****...that way you can make that stupid place pay for what they have done...thats reckless to let someone drive YOUR car that doesn't know how to actually drive...I feel for you man...

Pretty nice that they said they would pay for it. Most places wouldn't do that.

Default Hey Ed, I went back to Merchant this morning and the manager had the car towed to a tranny shop...

last night for work on the clutch/gears. To my surprise I asked why?!?! He said the shop does great work and will warranty their job. I then said well, I have an RS4 clutch and gave the manager "BoB" your phone number so he will call you. I told him your shop is closed today so he'll have to call you on MOnday. If you read this, can you call him at 301-770-0323 and do me a favor, please JACK UP the price on the RS4 clutch. He is paying for EVERYTHING. =)
