Audi content - I'm procuring parts for my Audi.
Ok, my bad for not specifying to the shipper that no signature was required to leave parts on my back doorstep. What sucks is that the shipper specified "Direct Signature Required" meaning that only I (or my non-existent spouse) can sign for and pick up the package. There is no way that I could re-route the package to another location (only the shipper can do that). There is no way that the shipper can specify another address since it takes 24-48 hours to process that request. I spoke with 3 different call center folks, and finally the last one relented and put in an order to hold the package at a remote facility somewhere in Alexandria that is open between 9am and 4pm tomorrow and has no idea when my package will be available for pickup.
GRRRRRRRRRRRR.
Most parts just showed up on my doorstep last night. It was a pleasant surprise.

Sounds like the shipper was looking out for you, FedEx is not totally to blame here!
