Default On a related topic, Saturday I'm going with a bunch of friends to Yamazato for bday sushi

and I'd like to extend an invitation to all the MA peeps who'd like to join us (except Andrew, who prefers to be an ****). We'll be there around 5:30pm. For those who don't know, Yamazato is an excellent Sushi & Thai place on Little River Turnpike right off I395 in Alexandria. Their online menu doesn't list all the Thai stuff but they have a good selection for those who are not crazy about raw fish.

http://www.yamazato.net/</a

I know that place well. Their portable gas range likes to explode.

Default There must be a story behind that statement.

I've been there many times and didn't even know they had a portable gas range.

Default that's awesome. How is their sushi?

Japanese and Thai? That's a weird mix now. I know we all look the same to you, but there are some minor differences. LOL

Default IMO their sushi is excellent, way better then any other place I tried in the area around my office

They only recently added Thai to the menu, but my wife says that's pretty good too.

Default Oh, they do. and simon got up close and personal to the flames they emit!

Good thing Wendy wasn't there to see him scream like a B-grade horror flick chick. :-P

Default did you ever have sushi in Arkansas? I am always afraid to have seafood in the inland states

more like river food or lakefood. yikes! fresh water fish don't make good sushi!

No. Over there I'd stick to catfish and maybe crawfish if you must.

Default Ha! You'd scream too if you saw flames coming up your arm and singe your hair.

And for the record, it was a YELL, not a scream. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
