Default Yes, how often do you legally get to race on a public road. But balancing safety vs speed was

a little frustrating. I wanted to go faster, but I did not want to crash. There was no instructor in the car with you to provide pointers, so it was a lot of trial and error. I need more practice.

Default LOL! "I was used to going to Porsche/Audi/VW events from the DC region with well groomed people

That first sharp right hander was pretty scary. So were you on R6 or A6 Hoosiers? If they were R6, you were lucky that they even warmed up in the afternoon!

Default They are Hoosier R6s so yes, they were cold and hard. Some serious racers had the electric blankets

and a generator to heat up their tires before their run.
