Looks like a lot of steps & diagrams (w/ dimension corresponding to the variables in the formulas) are missing.
I guess I would worry most about the strength deterioration of the concrete anchors after repeated installation/removal...

I understand what calcs NEED to be taken, just couldn't follow THEIR calc...
w/o doing a lot of guessing on what is what in their derivation, and more importantly, what ASSUMPTIONs they might have been making. \
