The photo is a photo of my left rotor in my A6 (Stoptechs). They were slotted rotors, but now the left outside rotor is almost completely flat. The right rotor looks brand new.

In the process of buying a re-build kit for just the left side. It should cure the issue (I hope).

Have you noticed a difference in brake dust side to side? How do the pads look?

Default Definitely more brake dust on the sticking side. Pads don't look too bad.

I have not checked the temp of the rotors, but I have a cheap IR temp checker and I will. I'm now trying to order new seals for the culprit caliper.

More like a sticking piston(s)...but yea, I'd agree it's time to rebuild 'em.

Does the car pull to one side when you brake at all?
