Mine threatened to starve and maim me if I didn't do what she said.
Turned me on so much, I married her.
From the stories she's told me, it seems there are more stupid and incompetent ones than not. Probably comes from the area being so saturated.

I had no issues with my agent because he was my buddy from work...
now the other ******** we worked WITH... that's a completely other story.
When I bought back in '04 it was the peak of the stupidity that I can the housing market in VA Beach. My buddy and I would work these other realtors offering more $$ and some would hide my offers from the sellers so they could push their OWN clients. We caught one red handed doing it, but she was able to convince the seller to side with her. I then put a contract in on my current house and got contacted by the other agent again because her lady fell through and was scrambling to get me back since she blew the original deal.
I had my buddy tell her to "go to hell"
I have a bunch of rather amusing/aggrivating stories about my house hunting. Took 7 months all said and done to secure a contract on a house and another 3 months to buy/move in, filled with threats from the seller's agent (mind you, not the seller/builder himself) that I was trying to back out of the deal when I asked to upgrade the flooring :-P

my good buddy's mom is the managing broker out of their VaBeach office. I want to get a feel on whether or not I should use her to sell my townhouse down here...
