Those are gonna be the new cruisers in the next few years, my best friend is a MD trooper and was...

some info.. (I work for DaimlerChrysler)
the company has been working on police versions of both the Magnum and Charger since before the standard models hit the streets. Seems like most of these police units will be the 250HP 6 cyl models, but the Hemi is available for order as well. General testing done by police agencies have shown the performance to be well above average, especially on the Hemi models.
My guess is that most will be the 6 cyl model. It's performance still puts the car on par with the best police cruisers currently on the market. A car may be able to outrun it but it wont outrun the cb radio....
