Stargazing PSA ... Venus and Jupiter in view tonight

Too many freakin tall buildings in NYC for me to get a clear sky
I wish I saw this earlier. I was in Jersey City for a meeting. When I came out, it was dark and I could have looked up to see this.

Saturn was quite bright tonight too...
395 HOV @ 6 PM, I think it was a saturn

Ha! I thought they were airplane landing lights last nite...
when I got home from groceries around dusk, saw these 2 bright lights to the West, just over the horizon above all the houses. One was slightly brighter than the other. Thus I thought it was 2 flights in-trail coming in from over the Pacific, and flying directly towards me (thus appears stationary). They (appeared) were at the correct altitude for aircraft entering the standard L-hand VFR approach pattern for SFO Rwy 28...
Gotta take a closer look tonight.
