looks like my right CV boot is torn and has been for a bit. 2 mos. ago AoAlexandria replaced my left CV boot, but said the right one was OK. Since its been torn for a while curry's is recommending a new right front axle (since audi doesnt make remanufactured ones).

also I have a coolant tank hose I need to replace due to a crack.

Looks like the first issue might prevent me from going if I cant get it fixed in time. So if my audi certified extended warranty cant pay for it and/or the part cant be had in time I'll be out.

hopefully Audi certified can come through, but I dont know if they will pay the money to curry's, and curry's is probably my best option to get this fixed in time and fixed well.

what are the chances of getting my money back from ACNA if I cant go?

Is your front axle so bad that you can't take it? I've heard of ppl just closing up the boot so there's no more leaks, and replacing it after the event.

I almost had to cancel when my curtain/side airbags deployed a few weeks ago. As it is I wont be picking the car up until friday and it probably wont be quite finished when I pick her up.

so I can go. Curry's said they will probably have it done tommorow. Slight risk just replacing the boot/seal rather than the whole axle, but gives me a much better chance of going friday.

so...I'm poorer, but hopefully still going to VIR with a healthy car!
