Default Make sure it's a 2-parts epoxy paint w/ hardener that you've to mix in....

It's a bit more pain and once mixed, it has to be used. I didn't bother trying to partial mix it, as I didn't want to screw up the chemical proportions. 2-parts epoxy paint will set & adhere chemically and is stronger, over 1 part paint where it only relies on drying for adhesion. Make sure you prep the floor well and let it sit for the prescribed days before driving on it.

Also before you buy it, make sure your floor doesn't already have some sort of concrete sealer... as IIRC, the instruction on the paint says it's incompatible w/ sealers and it tells you how to check for it.

I used for my townhouse the 2-parts epoxy paint from either (I forgot) Lowes or HomeDepot. The brand name (at tip of my tongue but can't recall) is well known name. It worked well and have lasted since put down in 2002/3(?). I did NOT use the 'anti-skid' sprinkle stuff and don't find it slippery.

Default it comes with a mix-in activator

I don't really want sprinkles. Am I crazy to want to do a high gloss black floor? I think it'd look good and it would be easy to see any dropped screws, etc. on it.

i like the flakes, but i find that it's tough to find nuts/bolt when i dropped them.

gloss would dull unless you got the janitor at the local HS to give it a polish once a week
