Default Yes fill the 4:3 image as 16:9 on regular cable channels though................

HD looks perfect but regular TV channel have the side bars. If you want IM me to make this easier.

Default ahhh.. ok. so...

you're saying that when you get your 3:4 images displaying like you want... your HD programming is stetched/zoomed as well?

Default HD is perfect, regular channels have the side bars and thats what I want to get rid of

but not by stretching or zoom. I want to make it full screen which was an option before but not now. I'll IM you today I'll be on the couch recovering.

Default ok..... but i've never seen anything like that.... 4:3 content on a 16:9 TV will have sidebars..

the only way i've heard or seen those sidebars not displayed is by stretching horizontally (making people look fat), or by zooming (loosing part of the picture at the top). i'll be on this evening probably.. just did a finishing polish on the car.. gotta throw a coat of blackfire on it and then down a few cold ones.
