Got a VA Uniform Summons for my tint and going to court today for it to see what the outcome is for me. Any advice? please guilty, not guilty? Got tint removed and took pictures to take to the judge.

FFX county right? Safety inspections and tint tickets are usually only assessed court costs if you prove that you've fixed the infraction.

Was your car darker than 35%? I didn't think so. Or did they nab you for the fronts being darker than 50%?
Either way, you were guilty if you were darker than 35 rear/50 front. But this is a no-point ticket either way. Just pay a fine and be done with it. Sucks that you have to leave work for that though.

shoulda asked this in the last reply but should i plead not guilty if the cop isn't there? Thats how its usually done in MD and everything gets dropped. This is my first va traffic appearance.

In MD, if the cop shows up, you don't even have to plead. But it's been a number of years since I've stood before a MD judge.
I'm pretty sure that the judge is going to ask why you're suddenly not guilty just because the cop isn't present. Guilty/Not Guilty doesn't change because the cop is there. If you're guilty of an infraction, you're guilty...you know what I mean? I had a MD cop tell me that one time and I've been mindful of my pleas ever since.
I'd still plead guilty. It gets you out of court faster if for nothing else. And since there are no points associated, you only lose a few dollars paying the fine. But like I said, I think the fine will be waived and you'll just pay court costs since you can prove you've removed the tint.

You might be able to meet w/ the cop b4 hand and show them the pix. They might let you off, but doubtful.
BTW, this post might be too late seeing what time it is.
