Traffic over the Cabin John bridge 11 am
Ok, ive become an annapolis bumpkin over the last 20 years, but holy cr... I got stuck in a big old jam today trying to get over that bridge about 11 am... took me 45 min to get 3 miles.. Is that there all the time..??? If it is... I feel for all of you that may have to endure it...

Here's what you do, Tony...
Crash Thursday night, and it's a 15-20 minute ride from Herndon to McLean via Dulles Toll Road. You don't even have to go through the big toll, and just use the Spring Hill exit - dumps you right around the corner from HBL.

Beltway is not bad as long as you're on it before 7:15 or 7:30 AM. Assuming good weather.
I commute Rockville-to-McLean every AM and it's a 25 to 45 minute commute. 25 if I leave at 7:30.

which one? American Legion or Chain Bridge?
AL is the one on the beltway, Chain Bridge is the one that's off of the Cabin John PKWY / Clara Barton PKWY leading to 123 in VA...
