Default you still have pre cat on that car!??

time to get that junk out..that will significantly lower heat build up for turbo and engine bay!

skip the beauty mods do the real ones! :-)

Default Rog.....

The OE heatshield had a part sticking out to shield the oil line from the manifold heat. The oil line really only needs to be protected from line-of-sight radiant heat, as air flow through the engine bay will move the rest of it. IMO, redesign the shield. Moving the oil line to the other side of it, I'm not sure would be the best answer. I'm sure though, you'll have an effective solution soon. ;-)

Default A4's don't have "pre-cats"... thats an S4 problem...

Default Thanks Matt, yeah, felt uncomfortable with it as soon as I saw how it would have to bolt together...

to fit. Taking it out in a few minutes to redesign.

Default Picked up the S's, and just finished cutting the grass.

Going to clean up the S's and Fabreeze them. P

Default regardless, that is mighty close to turbo... restricting the flow

and creating lot of heat build up...
