Default 2 things. 1: use the subject line to start your response. 2: Take some time to figure out what you

want out of the car. I want mine to be a comfortable daily driver that performs reasonably well on the track a couple times a year. I've upgraded a couple components to accomplish that. I don't spend money on the car merely to spend money. I want it to serve a purpose. I've avoided power mods in favor of maintenance and good overall operation. $460 to have you car make a BOV sound? Go with the whistle tips, instead. Wooo WOOOOOOOOO!!

Borla makes an exhaust system for the S4, but like you said, I can't seem to find it for the A6 either. I figured there'd be a similar system. Guess they might not have an A6 application. You could still probably find something used...check the classifieds.

Default Agree with this philosophy. You can get a lot of performance for the dollar.

I went from Audi to Mercedes, and what I miss more than anything is the HUGE population of tuners and aftermarket products.

You can add 50HP to a 2.7T for $500. To match that HP upgrade in my Benz, it will cost me about $5,000.

If you want to add non-performance-enhancing noisemakers or rear window spoilers or 20" wheels, go for it; but don't expect a lot of high-fives on this forum. It's very much a driver's forum.

Search the A6 forum for a Magnaflow muffler replacement. Several people just replaced the OEM mufflers with a Magnaflow product and really enjoyed the results. MUCH cheaper than a cat-back product.

Default i just read this entire thread and a few people mentioned chipping the car

i guarantee that if you buy a chip (check all audi forums classified section, i bet you'll find a chipped ECU for around $500-$600) and like others have said, you will be EXTREMELY happy with the outcome... assuming, of course, your car is not already chipped...
