well, I think most of the big public schools are, more people = more parties, right?
Try going to Catholic U or some other smaller schools, and see how many parties there are. LOL

yeah really, and Indiana should in no way be in the top 20 either...
and I cannt see why Miami and FSU are not up there, from the times ive been to those 2 schools they are crazy party schools

heh... Lehigh is ranked #3 by them now... lol...
we USED to be #13, and when I went, it was nothing compared to the few years before that. Though we were #1 for beer consumption and #5 for hard alcohol 
Hell, in my fraternity we got beer by the pallets haha
When I went back last year it was nothing compared to what it was when I was there freshman year. Thursday and friday nights you couldn't even drive a car on the hill cuz there were so many students wandering around... when I went there last year it was barren in comparison.

all depends on demegraphics I guess. Lehigh was a school of 4000 undergrad... way small in comparison to other big schools that are ranked below them =P Of course, when 60% of the campus is greek, that tends to help the matter... that and the fact that no one there ever had cover charges for parties... you show up, you drink, you stagger/fall down the hill back to the dorms

For the same reasons summarized in the article. Its a BS review...
The school ranks high up in the legit rankings for programs. The Rt1 riots and now this just brings a bad name to a good institution. It won't attract smart kids or donors with deep pockets which means quality of research may go down which may lessen State funding. Maybe I am looking too far ahead .
Having fun is part of college yes and I had the best of times while there but I'd rather not prefer the term "party school". Besides I would hardly consider Rt1/Knox Rd to provide a party atmosphere.
