as some of you already know its a definite now, i need a new tranny. gonna be without my baby now for a while, is just sitting in my garage waiting for me to take it back to the shop. when it goes in for the tranny im gonna be doing a couple other things too (not telling, dave yes i know you already know) as of right now i am exploring 2 options:

1. buy a used tranny i found from a yunk yard that has 20k miles on it and they offer a 1 year warranty: about $2250+shipping and labor

2. send my tranny to level 10 to get it rebuilt and upgraded, this would allow me to run much more power than a stock tip tranny and also will offer much quicker and more precise shifting than stock(they compare to adding a shortshifter on a stick): about $4500+labor for removing/installing my tranny

so... the used tranny is about 1/2 the cost of the level 10 rebuild but doesnt offer the nice performance bennifits the level 10 does. i am so torn as to what i should do.

otherwise...it's not worth it to dump the money for a level10 upgrade. it'd be really difficult to sell that to someone if you sell the car.
