Wash-n-Wax GTG

Hey guys!!!
I thought we could still do this: we could polish/wax/detail our cars and share with each other our supplies and pass on some detailing tricks/tips.
The weather is supposed to be perfect - now that the rain already went through the area. Tomorrow's weather is going to be in the sixties and partly cloudy (no chance of rain) - perfect for doing the detailing on our cars.
We have a great place to do this in King of Prussia. Al has found us a generous parking lot to use for our work AND it's across the street from a self serve car wash (the kind with coin operated power washers). Al says you'll need about $6 in quarters for the wash. (It costs less, but you always need more time = more quarters!) Then you can come across the street to do the rest of the drying/polishing/waxing/detailing with us.
It should make for a good morning of activities - we'll even go for pizza next door afterwards.

So bring your goodies for any detailing you want to do.
We'll share tips and supplies with each other.

See the next two posts for details how to get there.

Al's going to post the exact address following this post. And I'll post a map-pic of the area from mapquest after he posts.

oh man. not good, huh?
i love the stuff. but, i've never tried to apply it without the Z1 or Zfx before.
my twice a year regimen consists of:
1) wash with dawn
2) claybar
3) wash with Z-7
4) 3M Imperial Hand Glaze
5) Multiple coats of Z2 and Z5 (switching back and forth as many times as i can stand to do)
6) Clean with Z6 spray.
I used to do just the Zaino stuff, but have recently added the Claybar (holy crap does that stuff work) and the 3M IHG. I have to say, it makes the car look better than new.

Wish I could join you...
I can't make it tomorrow, I have to be somewhere else all morning. I am not far, in Wynnewood.
I want to try out my new bottle of Autoglym, direct from England. I ordered it from the Aston Martin owners catalog from a friend. Supposed to be great stuff.
I would like to see what others are using to polish/wax their cars, and admire the cars.
Thanks for organizing this, hope you do it again.
