Well... the service department of HBL Audi has managed to impress me. Two thumbs up!
Need a 5K service done badly this week, and my only option was to let HBL take care of me (Audi of Arlington couldn't book me til the 31st.). So I dropped the car off on monday morning, got a rental (Enterprise.... Drive one and you'll miss your Audi!) and hoped for the best. They managed to do the 5K service (used the oil I provided per request), replace my broken radio ****, and diagnosed/repaired the ticking noise I mentioned to a few of you at Smitty's. For those who were curious, it turned out to be a faulty wheel bearing on the front driver's side (Smitty, I heard a slight click on yours, so keep it in mind). Got the car back Tuesday night in prestine shape (and for the record, I skipped the car wash). I want to thank HBL service for their honesty, carefulness and quick turn-around, in particular their Service Manager Victor for being a good sport, the Shop Foreman (I've forgotten his name) for taking the test drive with me to identify the ticking noise, and especially my new Service Advisor Matt Frick for making it all happen. I can't say much for the sales department or Tyson's Collision center, but I will say that HBL Service was definitely on the ball this time. Thanks again!

P.S. - For the record, I will concede that my prior grievance with HBL in general was overly generalized. HBL service is excellent.
