What a shi..ty day - got 3 (!) tickets incl. "no inspection sticker" on my 8 months old bimmer
I bet the confusing language on the <a href="http://www.vsp.state.va.us/Safety.shtm#FAQSafety">VSP page</a> won't help my case.
WIll probably get inspection done tomorrow, but still will go to court in Nov to fight it and the other (other is 26 MPH above limit... 41 in 15 MPH zone before Arl.Cemetary entrance).

With that speed I imagine you have no choice about court because that is reckless.
Getting the inspection done and proving that will help but not much with the speeding. What's the 3rd ticket?

Yes, the ticket was from a Park Police cop. How is it translated in VA?
The fine is $135+25, btw.
Oh, the 3rd ticket was a parking ticket that I think was issued - the 'nice' lady was typing smthg while I was waiting for my wife, I picked her up and left before I was given the pink slip, so I'm not 100% sure... yet...

The ticket is a Federal Speeding Ticket, not related to VA
I also believe that, on the good side, the points don't transfer. A couple google searched to confirm turn up threads in other places that people have said the same thing.
The down side is that I don't think people have had success fighting the tickets.
Note: I've never gotten a ticket from Park Police, so I'm strictly going on what I remember from conversations about this before.

Its federal.....The ticket goes to a federal court and you are going to get nailed. It does not translate. You will be in a federal court.
