Good day all,
I have a 2.7lL 2004 Quattro (75K miles) that is getting on my last nerve, I like the vehicle but it’s in the shop every few months. If I knew this would stop I would not be too concerned but there doesn’t seem to be an end to it. The last trip to the shop was for a new multi switch for the turn signals, replace CV joints on axles, replace some sensor on the rear suspension (headlight adjustment) and the front suspension airbag leak, which was not fixed. The vehicle is paid off and I’m not looking for another car payment but it may come to that. Is there a good mechanic in the St. Louis or Alton, IL area that can look at this thing and give me an honest assessment? Thanks in advance
Eric

It's more than 2 years since the last post. Anyone know of other good independent shops in St Louis? I called Reid Vann and they wanted almost $900 for the 80K service!
Can you guys recommend a shop or person that can do a good job without costing an arm and leg?
Thanks!
