Default 1989 Audi 100 brakes

Hi. I'm having a brake problem with my 1989 Audi 100 sedan, non-Quattro. The front brakes are dragging, the front drivers side a little more than the left. I have replaced both rotors, pads, greased up all pins, guides and sliding surfaces, and rebuilt the calipers with no success. It's almost as if the brake system is applying pressure to the brakes when I'm not. Are there any components upstream from the calipers that could apply pressure or hang up? I would appreciate hearing from anyone else who knows or has encountered a similar problem. Thanks.

Default Search the forum archives, I believe it is caused by a bum master cylinder, or power brake booster..

servo.

I got the same **** going on. I think the Master Cyl gets to hot under the hood. The cooling fan blowing hot air direct onto it doesnt help neither..... I put a heatshield around the master Cyl... since then its ok.
