Is 1995 90S 2.8L V6 12V an interference engine?

Great info Jeffery, thanks. I do the piddlely stuff myself...
but the belt, pump, tensioner, brake fluid and coolant change I wouldn't do. 500.00 sounds reasonable-I'll check with dealer. Car has been almost flawless for 82K--rear diff seal, rear wheel bearing and front brake pads(that you could train a monkey to do it's so easy and brilliantly designed!)so far. It does use a quart every 1000 mi-but it always has from new-switched to Mobil 1 ONCE, that slippery stuff flew past those valve guides every 250 mi! Just recently noticed it very occasionally popping out of 1st on long downhill engine breaking situations-sounds like this might be the Achilles heel of the Quattro from the posts! But the car still has an interior to die for, don't really know if I could ever part with those jacquard(?) striped sport seats that have never been uncomfortable in 6 years! The car still does not have a squeak or rattle even at 10 below. Easily the best car I've ever owned, but I must admit, now that BMW has the xi option on the 3 series...
Thanks again for the info
