'86 4000 Quattro Wheel Hub Lug Bolt Hole
A tire dealer damaged a lug bolt and its hole on the left rear hub. I think replacing the hub would be costly due to necessarily replacing the expensive bearing on this car. Does anyone know what size tap could be used to re-thread the bolt hole, and if they are available anywhere? Am I wrong about the bearing replacement?
