Default 90 Audi 100-cold start problem and warm idle problem

Hello everyone,I have a 1990 Audi 100 that just wont go.I have replaced the fuel pump, the plugs, the cap and rotor button, oxygen senser and as well the fuel filter. The problem is this, when the car is cold it starts hard unless you play with the co mix. When finally getting it started it idles up and down after it warms up.Sometimes when you shut it off and come back to it later on in the day it wont start again. The car seems like it is flooding itself to death.

this could be caused by a couple of problems:-

1. fuel pressure related - pressure regulator, injectors
2. vacuum leaks
3. bad idle air control valve/ISV - try cleaning

good luck

Thanks for the tips,I found no vaccum leaks, had the injectors out and cleaned and replaced all seals. The co has been set and now have a new problem. The car seems to start fine now and runs smoother but at idle with car in gear and radio, rear defrost and cooling fan going the car stalls.I have bypassed the charcoal canister(think it is plugged).Does this sound like the idle speed control valve? One other thing, had a pressure gauge on the cold start injector and it is reading 90 psi, does this sound right?

Thanks .

yes, try cleaning the ISV. I think u've an electrical problem, probably a weak alternator - do check it out first.

Could this be a problem with the computer?

Ok,have been working on this 100 for a long time.I have bought RB manuals and checked alot of things and even have done flash codes .I get no codes from computer but the car still wont go.For some reason this car wont start at times and when it does if you go for a drive and get within 30 miles from home it will stall at a stop sign. Then it starts very hard ,sometimes it wont start.I have given up on trying to get this to go.Totally out of ideas.Any suggestions would be appreciated.
