Pardons, but I couldn't find an answer in archives...<p>I was recently along for an A6 test drive and noticed that the <br>redline was different than the A4. They're the same V6 30V<br>engines, but the A6 redline is lower than the A4 V6, 6000-ish <br>versus 6500-ish. I know the hp is slightly higher on the<br>A6 due to different exhaust, but why the lower redline?<p>Just curious. Any ideas?<p>David
