annoying wiper arm...
The driver's side wiper arm is starting to bug me alot now. A while ago (months) I started noticing the blade isn't wiping the top part of the windshield, but now, in the last week, I've noticed that the bottom part isn't being wiped as well. I thought it was bad blades, but i replaced them and still the same. Then I played with the arms a bit (and getting splashed with soap solution) And I realized that the arm wasn't pushing down on the windshield hard enough. The passenger side seems to be tigher, so the wiper wipes pretty good. Once I push down the arm while its in motion, the wiper gets the entire area it is supposed to wipe. Any way I can make the arm push down harder? When I bought the car, the entire arm was already bent a little (probably because of this problem) but I think lately it has become worse... The local junk yards don't have a lot of C4 100s around, so is there a 'quick-fix' to my problem? Or do I need to order an arm from factory ($$$ IMHO) TIA.

the arm is already bent to the extent it's kinda annoying, but i guess i can bend it more....
what would be the best tool to bend the arm with?
also, I did buy the Bosch Microedge Excels... the new wiper arm (on the wiper) didn't help... It's the arm attatched to the car that is not putting down enough force...

If you never had this problem before you may want to try just switching the new wiper arms you got.
Make sure the glass is really clean.
Are your nuts securing the "Stub Arm" attached to the motor tight? Did those new Bosch arms both "click" into place real nice?
Did the new Bosch arms change the problem at all?

The Bosch Arms didn't make a difference... the arm's tight and got a crisp click.
just doesn't wipe good... would bending the arm attatched to the car by hand be a good idea? or do i need some tools? (tried by hand, but it's really tough!)
I was thinking maybe the two springs under the arm from the car is getting loose?
TIA

Could try removing the car arm and bending in the end in a vise or big crescent wrenches?
Can you remove the stub arms, maybe use the good one as a guide. Maybe try the good one on the bad side to check the "fit" angle needed.
Your wiper motors mounted tight? Any play in those stub arms? It does seem weird they would bend out.
You will probably loose some black paint on the stub arm bolt heads. Maybe a little padding, thin rag would help.
