Default Put air in the brake lines

I wish I was kidding. I have an 86 5KTQ and it is much easier to heel/toe with a soft pedal. If yours is 92+ I can't help you. Mine isn't really that bad for a sedan, but the UrQ has to be the best setup for heel/toe I have ever driven (I've never driven Ferrari's etc.)

Default If I remember right, the pedals on those are pretty bad

Look to see if you can take off the rubber pedal cover and mount an aluminum one. If the rubber one is thick then you might make some progress. Other than that there isn't much to do. I strongly suggest you not cut a reweld the pedal, if it breaks in a panic stop you are SOL. It is very hard to modify the pedal without affecting travel at the top or the bottom. It would be easier to add thickness to the gas pedal, but again be careful because they are often flimsy.

Good luck,

I find on my 94 S4 the brake pedal height is perfect for heel-toe under hard braking, at the track, where I need it.

Under light street braking the brake pedal is a bit to high - but I can still twist my foot and use my heel on the gas pedal but its awkward.

The question is what scenario is more important. IMO you don't need to heel-toe on the street. If transmission longevity is your concern, you can double clutch - which is so slow you might as well brake first then shift.

The smart *** answer would be to drive on the street like you do on the track, then the brake position should be fine.

The practical answer is that I don't think there is a brake pedal height adjustment - but you could install a block on the gas pedal like some of the BMW guys do.

Default I didn't lower the brake pedal, but I did raise the accelerator petal.

I found that on my A4, the petal can be raised about 3/4" due to slop in the throttle cable. I crimped a spacer around the throttle cable which reduced the slop and raised the petal. Don't know if this will work on your 100, but take a look. Good luck.

Default Re: ANy one knows how to .... YES, I did it a year ago....

Remove lower dash panel and look under by lying in footwell. Trace pedal up to upper assembly and look for locknut 19mm & 22mm. Loosen and twist but leave adkustment with at least 4"to floorboard for brake fade possibility. Tighten locknut and reassemble. There!!
