I just asked my mechanic about that same thing on
my 4000S and he said its just a service reminder. It will not affect the performance of the car. My has been on for two years. I was told that you have to take the instrument cluster out and there is a button on back to reset the light. I didn't think it was worth the trouble.
Hope this helps.

You can remove the instrument cluster and see that to the top of the speedometer rear, there is a slotted hole with OXS next to it molded into the plastic. You can slide a flathead screwdriver in there and reset it. Once you've done that, and don't want it to go off again, you can simply remove the bulb while you're in there.
Hope this helps,
