Cat. Converter 1992 100CS

Has anyone experienced rattling in the cat. converter that required replacement by Audi? I have been told that due to the Recall on the 90's (same V6) that Audi also considers 100's under the recall.

I have a 92 100CS with about 85,000 miles. So far no problems with the catalytic converter.

I have a 94 90CS with the rattling catalytic converter but my dealer insists that he knows nothing about the recall. Do you know any more about it?
