Default Help with 4kQ rear shock mounts

I've got this clanking noise when going over bumps from both sides in the rear. I think it's the rear shock mounts, not surprising on an 86 car with lowered suspension.

This would be the first time I ever do this (although I can hold a wrench) so my question is: is this a job for a beginner?
Is the rear shock mount just something that can be changed from the top (well, trunk), or do I have to raise the car?

I appreciate all the comments I'll get, as always.

you will probably not need spring compressors (assuming you do have lowering springs) both the h&r's and eibachs did NOT require the use of spring compressors in the rear.

but you will need to raise the car and remove the entire back seat. and the rear dash. also need the tool to tighten the strut bearing nut.. and maybe an impact to tighten..
you will definately want to change the bump stops as well.. they're less than $5.00 each as i recall.

HTH!
