has anyone out there encountered a problem when they hit a "good" sized bump that made a squeaking noise inside you car (it almost sounds like a single chirp from a cricket).<p>i tought that it may have been either the dash board screws coming loose or maybe a seat is loose??? any help is greatly appreciated.

Presetn Avant is totally quiet.<p>Old Coupe Quattro was prone to often squeaking around the rear hatch. You seem to think it's from the front; could be almost anything. Am not aware of a generic problem on Audi 80/90 modles, at least.<p>Might start rappling with your fist around complete interior, see if anything gives you the squeak you hear. Another way is fro someone else to drive the car while you rattle-hunt from passenger seat. <p>Tracing these sueaks down can be extremely frustrating at times.
