Here are some basic prices on the upcoming twin-tubo A6 and the V8 A6 4.2. Nothing detailed yet, but this will give you an idea of what they will cost.<p>A6 twin-turbo - $39,000 base, about $43k with the most popular options<p>A6 4.2 V8 - $49,000 and it comes fully equipped.<p>Thats all I know about these two models. I have no idea when they are going to arrive in the U.S., but if there are prices for them already, I'm guessing that it will be in the fall.<p>Matt<p>

A6 2.7TT is a more comfortable car, especially in the rear seats. S4 is a more sportier car to drive, as its tuned by AUDISPORT. The car should be firmer than the A6, also it should handles much sportier than the A6. A6 is a very good car which I will choose it over the BMW 5-series. Hmmm...that's interesting. I just priced out a 99 A6 (2.8Q) with leather seats, cold weather pack, convenience pack, and audio (Bose) pack. It came to $40,550. Assuming that these options are pretty close to your so-called "most popular options", then this means that Audi is only charging about $2.5k for the engine upgrade.<p>Tempting indeed.
