Radiator Fan Not Working...

My '92 Audi 80 is overheating on me when I am in heavy city traffic because the radiator fan is not working. Fan motor is not siezed up, and the fuses are good. The fan quit working when my A/C stopped working, but my R-12 charge is good, and the A/C button lights up, the recirculation flap works, just no compressor or fan action. Everything worked fine last summer, but just plain quit last fall. Does anyone have any idea on what relay or other things I should check?
Any help is truly appreciated,

On the left fender wall there is an inline fuse. Follow the fan wires to a small black box (aprox 1"x2") open it up, and there will be a flat fuse in there that always corrodes with time. I think your car has one of these. It is a very common problem.
