It was a '95, though, not a new one.<p>The '95 S6 wagon is a pretty rare car, as only 200 were imported to the U.S. I got a ride in one at Brainerd Int'l Raceway, and it was a cool car, modified to about 280hp, I think. Great interior, too. Unfortunately, the guy got a flat tire halfway through our one and only lap!<p>Rich D.

<br>Are you sure only 200 were imported? Two friends, located within a 1/2 mile of me, each have one, and I've seen several others in my (small) town in Colorado. Perhaps there's a very disproportionate number of S6 Avant lovers in my area. I've been looking for one myself.

I think I've heard that there are a disproportionate number of them in Colorado. I think that's true of this area (Minnesota) as well, as is the case with Ur-Quattros and Coupe Quattros.<p>Rich D.

~540, Back when I was getting my new A6 avant, the Prestige Imports had two on the lot. I almost got one, but I liked the new audi better. I spoke with the Sales manager, he stated that they sold almost 70 of the full 540 right here in denver.

<br>What did you think of Prestige's pricing on the S6's? I think they are quite high, many thousands above Kelly and Edmunds's market survey numbers, and higher even than the "Colorado winter premium" should dictate. Same for Audihaus Imports which seems to be pricing S6's very high. Also, I will be interested in your reaction to the Prestige service department.
