Default Stumbling Power on 200Q

My 200Q runs fine sometimes and yet feels like it's running lean on fuel at other times - it stumbles up the tach. Occasionally, it will seem to "catch" and surge with full power. Gas mileage is good (22) What do you think? Have I got a weak fuel pump? Other ideas?? Thanks...

I don't have an answer for you, but I will chime in with a similar condition on my 200tq. Mine sort of surges and hiccups all along the rpm path. Even at idle, it wavers from 1000 rpm down to 800. Every once in a while, it will get a hiccup at around 4k and 5k.

All in all, it's not a smooth run up the tach.

Does this suggest that it's time for a tune-up?

Default O2 Sensors

When was the last time you changed the Oxygen sensors?

Default Re: O2 Sensors

2/2/97. The car had 57k miles, and the note on the work order says that the car was "surging while driving." The O2 sensor was the culprit, and the conditions sound similar.

I'll go have it checked.

Thx,
