I live in the GTA as well - its been in just about every Canadian tire i've visited.. In the section where all the other fuel additives are held..

Im definately going to have to look around - I have a feeling that they both have the same contents..
Maybe they dont carry the oil additive in Canada for some reason..
if worse comes to worse, I can always head down to a Walmart in Buffalo

used about a half quart of MMO. It quited the lifters alot. Lasted untill next oil change and then lifters were noisey again without MMO. I give up. Time to just change the lifters![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

...the thing was so loud. It was "almost" embarrasing.
I'll post if the sound comes back after I change the oil. Although I won't be changing oil for a few months...since I just did it.
It wouldn't bother me if the sound came back after an oil change. I would just substitue the Mystery Oil for a qt of Mobil 1 on every oil change. It would actually be cheaper anyway. Substituing $2.50 a qt. Mystery Oil for $4 a qt Mobil 1 would be fine with me. As long as it keeps the lifters quiet I would keep saving money :-)

one cup of Mystery Oil to his late 70's brand new Volvo from day one. At 120,000 everything was real good. He changed his oil every 3,000 miles.

A red bottle that looks like a quart of oil, or the older style is a metal can. It can be used in the gas or oil, they don't differentiate between oil and gas that I've seen.

....chatter a little bit. It's not near as bad as it was but it's not dead quiet like it was when I had just added it.
If it keeps it quieter I'll keep using it. I also only have 1/2 a qt. of the Mystery Oil in at the moment. It's working pretty good with half a qt so far....maybe the whole qt would shut it up?? :-)
I'll keep you posted!!
P.S. The 80q is at 210k miles.....it's in front of the Volvo at the moment!! (Oil changes every 5-6k miles)
