what would you say an 83-85 Ur Q with a 5000 turbo motor upgrade yeilds in power and performance???

I've been helping an Audi buddy restore/repower his 83 UrQ with an 86 5000CS engine...
...the engine was out of his totaled turbo quattro. It had an estimated 240-245hp...did the 1/4 mile in 14.60 @ 98mph. The 5000 was alot heavier then the Ur...had longer gearing...and had over 250k miles. Now it's been rebuilt and is currently in the Ur and running great.

thats what I wanted to hear...
thinking about picking up an UrQ and found a couple of nice examples from 83 and 85 and all seemed to have upgrades to the 5000 turbo motor, wanted to know what they could do...

How powerful it is all depends on how much you're willing to spend. A friend of mind had an UrQ that had 400+ hp, all with Audi Sport go-fast goodies. 40k miles, and he sold it for $5500(yes, american!)...I about killed him. But that's a different story entirely. My point remains, depending on your budget, the sky's the limit, really.
