I think the 3.7 FWD version brought down the image of the A8. No one paying that much for a car would possibly want FWD (IMHO), when everything else (S-class, 7-series, etc.) is rear wheel drive. I honestly didn't think the public reacted well to a FWD $65000 car. I think they should only offer quattro for the A8. Would you buy a FWD S-class? I know i wouldn't...Just my $0.02.<p>-andrewt<br>

Default Build 'em until you run out of engines...

Seems like that's the way it works on the A8 project. Who knows what else they can do with the engine, though... send some to Lambo?<p>Cameron

...a twin turbo 4.2 from the A8 showing up in a future Lambo! And AWD, that sounds a lot like quattro. It was in European Car, i think!<p>-andrewt
