Default check your local walmart or autozone
they carry bike stuff during seasons. Got a battery there for the beemer for 60$

what year? If the battery is canted then you need a dry cell, thats why its so expensive.

It's a '99. The battery sits fairly straight in there... when I'm not leaning over :-)

Default What sort of battery does your bike take?
It might be worth it to change over to a more modern battery. My 91 851 would devour batteries no matter how close I monitored battery maintenance. I converted to a new style sealed maintenance free battery and it has lasted 2 seasons and cranks my bike over with ease. I have high comp pistons installed and the stock spec battery always struggled even when new.
