2005 Audi TT with 5.8 liter engine
Hi,
I'm a benz guy, but I just wanted to know if there is such thing as an Audi TT that can be imported with a 5.8 liter engine. I met a guy that claimed that he had an Audi TT with a 5.8 liter V8 and he had it twin turbo charged. I've done some search and could not find anything about 5.8 liter Audi TT. Is this guy full of caca or can you really order an Audi TT with 5.8 liter engine through the dealer? He was challenging me on a pink slip race with my Kleemann Stage 2 E55.

Re: 2005 Audi TT with 5.8 liter engine
The only 5.8 liter engines that I've heard of are the 351 Cleveland Ford V8, the 351 Windsor V8(aka the 351 SVO when fitted with aluminum Cleveland cylinder heads) and the all aluminum 351 SVO, which formed the basis of the Elan Power Products 6 liter Ford V8s used in the Panoz LMP1 Le Mans/ALMS cars. These engines have been pursaded to fit into RX7s, Ford Capris(Euro) and even Focuses, but I doubt that it could fit in a normal TT, and supercharging is more popular with these engines than turbocharging.
Does M-B make a 5.8 liter V8?
PS, ignore the post that I put in below this one-it's the same and I double posted on accident.

HPA Motorsports in Canada has a twin turbo kit for the 3.2L V6 TT...
<ul><li><a href="http://hpamotorsports.com/products_turbo_twin.htm">that puts down 565hp/620tq with 0-60 in 3sec</a></li></ul>
