The driver lineup will be Lucas Luhr, Mike Rockenfeller, and Alex Primat. Mattias Ekström will be a reserve driver if Tom Kristensen isn't cleared to race by the week of the 16th of June.

After some conversations I had at the Miller ALMS race last week I wouldn't be surprised to see Audi concentrate more on their other efforts (DTM, etc) and pull out of LMP1 after this year.

well given the rule changes and how they made it such that P2 can beat P1 now 4 times in a row (with none of those being mechanical reasons), not surprised at it. You don't see GT2 being able to beat GT1, despite only one team in GT1.

If what John says is true, then I hope Audi reconsiders and runs LM, Sebring, PLM, Laguna Seca, and/or the LMS. Otherwise, the ALMS/Le Mans has lost a loyal fan, unless Ford or Panoz enters an LMP1 car.

Rolex Sports Car series comes to mind. I haven't watched Rolex too much, but from the little that I've seen, the DP1 class in Rolex seems to be pretty similar to LMP1 (with the exception of the closed cockpit requirement). Could Audi easily adapt the R10 to enter the Rolex series? What is Rolex's rules on diesel?

The R10 can't be adapted to the Rolex Series' Daytona Prototype rules. The R10 has a carbon fiber tub, front and read diffusers, open cockpit, and is a turbodiesel.
DP's are tube chassis, no ground effects, closed cockpit, and all cars are naturally asperated as far as their engines are concerned, and use gasoline.
So in short, it won't work, and the R10 is basically banned from the Rolex Series.
