How does BMWCCA compare to Quatttro Club...their prices seem a little cheaper?
I'm planning on attending the 2 Quattro Club Watkins Glen Days one is in July and the other in August.

(no shirts, etc) but I have found that, at Lime Rock, for example, there is more room. I think run groups are smaller.
However, I don't know about the prices being better. The CT Valley and Patroon Chapters were offering 1-day LRP events for $195. NE Chapter has LRP for about $320 or so. Of course, someone below posted other chapters offer LRP for $125 or so...but I am not sure how many cars are on the track at once at those events.
Now, for $195 you get less cars on the track. For $320 (or so) you have a bit more vehicles on the track (IMHO).
Can't say about WG.

I did Road america with the BMW club last year. It was $325, weekend, and we got 4 runs per day.
QC was $375 for 2 weekdays, and with only 3 runs.

I know VIR weekends in an "off" season is cheaper than weekdays in the summer, etc...
A lot of it also has to do with:
1) insurance policy and associated costs
2) sponsorship $$
3) instructors, etc. Too few instructors means fewer sessions, fewer students, more $$$ to attend.
But, of course, too many instructors means to many groups, not enough sessions.
It's a balancing act. I've run 5-6 events in the past 3 years. It's a time consuming process to keep costs down, make a profit, get everyone on the track more.
Also, I belive that 3 30-min sessions per day are better than 4 20-min sessions. But that's just me

Some chapters (Boston, White Mountain, Genessee Valley) are inexpensive, well-run, and not too uptight. Others (patroon, ct. valley) are quite expensive and a bit officious.
I don't have any experience with audi events, so I can't really provide a good comparison.
I'm also a fan of COM (http://www.comscc.org), which has good instruction, with the option of participating in their time trials if you want. good fun.

organization. They had some very dedicated and experienced head instructors there. Tony F. from Trackmasters and Steve E. from NEQ, two of the best in this business. There was no lunch break so everyone had lots of track time.
