The first time I say these pics, my heart skipped a beat! For a second I thought audi was going to join formula one. Take a look. Great graphic design work.

http://www.speedarena.com/news/publish/features/article_7412.shtml</a

create another playground for their success. I could imagine Audi as a (Diesel) engine manufacturer for any team that has the desire and the $$$ to play in F1.
BTW, I highly doubt that Audi would compensate any of their drivers with a ridiculous amount of $20M or so per season; they rather invest in technology.
Just ask the Audi ALMS drivers :-)

I don't see Audi making that kind of investment. Now, IF they sought to become the first F1 team to win in a diesel, THAT would be worthy. Look at all that BMW has had to go through to get to where they are now, and they still haven't won a race. Great dream, but I don't see it happening.

The good thing is that F1 is somewhat competitive, the bad thing is if you are a company like Toyota or BMW and need 10 years to get to the podium. I believe Audi took on BMW's lesson and rather keeps fishing in their own pool.....smart move ;-)
