Default Audi R15 TDI

Looks like R10 TDI will be replaced by the R15 TDI at Sebring next year if Audi wants to stay on top. According to Audi, the step taken from the R8 to the R10, the step is even bigger from the R10 to R15. The R15 remains as an open-topped roadster.

Sebring Debut for Audi R15 TDI

Default Rumor is that they will still run the R10 after Sebring..in the ALMS...and the R15 in Europe

Guess we will have to wait and see if that turns out to be turn or not. But sure sounds exciting for Audi.

Default Sebring according to this: "The first private tests with the new Le Mans sports car are scheduled...

for later this year. The R15 TDI will only be presented to the public immediately before its race debut in the 12-hour race in Sebring (USA) on 21 March 2009.

Planet LeMans intel update on three Audi programs

Default Sounds like they're ready to slap Puke-oh around in Europe this year. I just KNOW

someobody will break loose with a picture/drawing of it sooner than Sebring.

Default Sure P wishes they didn't have an enclosed cockpit...takes extra time to change

drivers out...seconds count.

Default What could be a bigger step than going from gasoline to diesel?

Maybe some sort of diesel-electric hybrid? We know VAG has been working on such a technology for quite a while now.

Default One would imagine he means they will be much more aggressive with the packaging and aerodynamics of
