Auto Fire Extinguisher- Buyer Beware
Few would argue that a fire extinguisher isn't a good idea for your car -especially the hundreds of people who experience a vehicle fire every day. Beware of non-UL listed fire extinguishers, however. They do not meet the
regulations in many states.
In January of this year, the California State Fire Marshal actually ordered a recall of 7 brands of non-UL listed fire extinguishers being sold in the state. More information regarding these products can be found at:
