Default Way to go, IMSA. You've obviously made friends with major supporters. Dickwads.

Must be taking Bernie 101 lessons.

Default Old news but ...

The Penske spyders are not out of ALMS due to IMSA. Apparently the contract between Roger & Porsche was for three years. The ex-Penske spyders are reported to be back the the factory. The question remains what about the Dyson spyders or at least one of them...it is purchased by a privateer team or does Dyson still have one. As far as Europe and the Spyders - Van Merjkestin (sp), Team Essex are no longer; Horag purchased two complete chassis but they are questionable for running LMS.

Porsche put their factory driver Pat Long (ex-Penske)with the Lizards and Jorge Bergmeister and moved Wolf Henzler to Farnbacher Loles with Werner.

Default From the other day it seemed that it would be Dyson and Mazda in LMP2 still

... but with no details on what Dyson would be using so it really read like it was the RS Syders still.

Though today, it seems that it is not the case. Dyson will be using the Lola LMP2 coupes with the 2.0L turbo Mazda engines.

Default I heard they were already back in Germany. Now Penske is launching an assault on the Rolex Series

with a Porsche powered entry. That should be fun.

Default The generally accepted thinking is that the Penske DP program is a "low cost" way of keeping the

sportscar squad together for 2009 while Porsche cooks up something more interesting for Penske to run for 2010.

I bet they'll run away with it though.
